I am elated to say that I believe I’m slowly waking up from this haze of a slumber by which I’ve been detained. My poor, dejected paint brushes have been rescued from the corner and the next blank canvas has been covered with an angel. He’s this gorgeous, slightly melancholy one with long locks, eyes closed, snuggled to a garment that seems to have been of some importance at one time. Nostalgia seems to radiate. It was a commissioned piece I was delighted to procure. I’d like to keep this one for myself actually, but that makes sharing it all the sweeter.
I seriously can’t get enough of that late fall/early winter smell in the mornings. It’s a combination of burning leaves and icy air. It’s safe to say it’s become somewhat of an obsession. Can scent be an obsession?
And still, the lonely panorama waits for companionship. I promise it will come soon.
With renewed energy and my release from being a prisoner of war between body and baby, enjoyment is just around the corner. I can see it. Can you see it?
Just as your physical bodies require a gym, so does your soul. Do something for yourself this week – only you. I find it makes it easier to hear the Spirit.
