there's no sense here…only babble-rambles

If the risk isn’t great, the reward won’t be worth more than a saltine cracker. And not even one with jelly or cheese on top.

(I’m procrastinating on the daunting, blank canvas in my make-shift studio, in case you were wondering.)

Amazing that something so simple can be totally terrifying, huh? Take the risk. The one that makes you nauseous. The one that makes you smile big like the fat cat in Cinderella when he’s up to something. The one that you’ll wonder about for the rest of your life if you don’t do it.

I’m not talking about anything in particular…just the every day what-if’s that we come across, wondering about what would happen if we stopped and grabbed it.  If you’ve always wondered what it would be like to be a mime, hop into that pretend, claustrophobic box and go nuts. (And also, if you’ve ever wanted to be a mime or are a mime, let’s talk because I’m not sure I understand the concept.)

There’s a reason it’s hard. It makes the reward great.

I want to take a road trip to the Omaha Zoo. I hear it’s incredible, awe-inspiring – puts the KC Zoo to shame. Anyone up for it?

Courage takes practice. Like patience. Patience takes strength, even more so than courage I think. Courage takes faith, certainty in yourself and the One you pray your heart out to.

Well, those are my bed-time ramblings of randomness. I apologize for the lack of parallelism. My canvas awaits me tomorrow and I’ll approach it with courage, patience and hopefully come out in the end with a saltine cracker with cheese on top. Or maybe jelly. There’s no telling what baby will be in the mood for.

A trip to the Omaha Zoo sounds like fun. And educational. You are right. Grab for the gusto, before you rusto. (That is bad!) An empty canvas is like an empty piece of paper. Do you dare write what you really feel? Timing and patience are important. So is faith in the future. Hang onto that insight and take care.
